Southwest Florida felt a heavy rumble in October when motorcyclists from around the state rode in for the Florida State H.O.G. Rally. Get ready to hear the engine roar again as riders come together for the Southwest Florida Bikers for Babies event (November 13-15) benefiting the March of Dimes. This is the second largest and longest police escorted ride in the nation.
Bikers for Babies – a three-day weekend of live entertainment and fundraising – plays a critical role in raising funds to support research and medical services relating to premature birth and infant health. This November Bikers for Babies celebrates 15 years of riders focused on ending premature birth and the over $1.8 that has been donated thus far from bikers and non-bikers alike. Through funds raised via the ride and otherwise, the premature birth rate has decreased from 1 in 9 to 1 in 10!
Do you want to hit the road for this great cause? Register for the ride online . You can become a $100 Hero in support of the 1 in 10 babies born prematurely – All you have to do is ask 10 friends to donate $10 to this important cause.
