April 2015 Events at Six Bends- Weekly Events Bring Southwest Florida Community Together

FORT MYERS, Fla. – MARCH 23, 2015 – Poker runs, motorcycle trips and Easter celebrations take place at Six Bends during the month of April.

On April 3, Six Bends will host Bunny Bike Night from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Gotta Luv It, Southwest Florida’s premier rock and soul show band, will be providing live entertainment and guests are encouraged to pre-register for the Easter Bunny Toy Run taking place on April 4. The Bunny Toy Run, organized by the SWFL H.O.G. Chapter, will depart from Six Bends at 11 a.m. and travel to Golisano Children’s Hospital where the toys will be collected for children spending Easter in the hospital. After the motorcycle run, the party continues at Six Bends with Cadillac Blue performing in The Pit from 1-4pm. The cost to participate in the Toy Run is $10 per motorcycle driver and $5 per passenger. Participants are asked to provide an unwrapped toy that is not a stuffed animal and is appropriate for children who are infants up to three years old. On April 11, Six Bends will host a motorcycle run out to Seminole Casino Immokalee to watch more than 50 hot air balloons take flight in the Balloons over Paradise event. The motorcycle run is free to attend and is sponsored by the SWFL H.O.G. Chapter. A pancake breakfast is offered at 6 a.m. and kickstands are up at 6:30 a.m.

Partnering with the Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club to honor Deputy Pat Healey, a motorcycle run and celebration of fallen heroes will take place on April 19. Kickstands will be up at 11 a.m. at Six Bends and registration will open at 9 a.m. Participants will travel to The Shell Factory and then come back to Six Bends, where a 50/50 raffle, silent auction and live entertainment will be on hand. The cost to participate in the poker run is $15 per motorcycle driver, $5 per passenger and $5 per additional hand. Then from April 24-26, Six Bends Harley-Davidson and Naples Harley-Davidson are collaborating on a trip to Leesburg Bike Fest. Leaving on April 24, departing at 9 a.m. from Naples Harley-Davidson and at 10 a.m. from Six Bends, bikers will enjoy the scenic ride up to Brooksville. Additionally, Six Bends will continue to host their weekly event, Sundays at The Pit from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Guests can enjoy live entertainment from both national and local music acts. On April 12, fan-favorite and top 40 rock band, Remedy, will be performing. Then, on April 19, Lemongrass will perform. A little later in the month, Hester Prynne will entertain guests on April 26. Six Bends will be closed on April 5 for the Easter holiday.
